A teenage girl's face
is almost all anime eye.
A teenage boy superglues
werewolf hair to his bare chest
in front of a mirror at midnight.
The sophomore semi-formal
is super scary; these days,
no one dares to be normal.
The normal kids always
get decapitated before they can
deliver any decent lines.
The normal kids are
at the bottom of the pond
upon which a cartoon canoe
cuts the moonlight in two.
